Two weeks ago, My wife Shelly and I each purchased an iPod Touch basically to listen to different podcasts and audio books while at work.

We were also looking to expand our mobile music collection. Soon we discovered that we had stumbled upon an amazing device that would radically change the ways we do things.

Earlier this year we purchased an iMac from the Apple Store. The people that helped me in the store were so passionate about everything Mac that it seemed strange. Now I know what all of the passion is about!

I was simply blown away by the simplicity and usability of the iMac desktop computer. I tell everyone that the Mac is basically our first computer (We had so many problems dealing with viruses, compatibility issues, etc.. with the PCs).

Now back to the iPod Touch, after purchasing a few songs and downloading a couple of podcasts I stumbled upon the Apps Store. Some of the applications found in there simply blew me away! This iPod is more than just a music player, it is now my personal pocket assistant.

I will go into more detail about some of the different apps that make my life a little easier.
