Please don’t use a picture like this on your Facebook profile – if you want people to recognize you.

The other day a friend of mine mentioned to me how someone on Facebook posted the following:

“It’s funny how I have friends on Facebook that don’t speak to me in person.”

My Take

Maybe they can’t recognize who & the hell you are because of your frigging profile picture.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m all for having a little fun with our online personas but sometimes we get a little carried away. (see photo above)

Be Consistent

I happen to use the same photo for all of my online profiles with the exception of Facebook. I try & rotate photos that are easily recognizable there.

A little common sense goes a long way – doesn’t it?
