Kyle’s Web Tool Digest Issue #1 – Posterous revisited

This entry is part 6 of 9 in the series Posterous

From now on each weekly update will be known as… “Kyle’s Web Tool Digest.”

Last week, I discussed the difference between a blog and a website. Then I suggested that you get your feet wet by starting your first Posterous photo blog.

So just to show you that I do practice what I preach, I started one myself and even posted a few photos. It only took me about 5 minutes to set it up.

Today, let’s take a quick peek at a new feature released by Posterous.

Now, you can automatically send posts from your new photo blog as instant email newsletters.

Here’s how it works.

Step 1: Add your family, friends or customers’ email addresses as subscribers via the ‘People’ tab.

Step 2: There is no step two. It’s that simple.

Okay, now you have one free tool that you can use to create:

1. A blog
2. Email newsletter
3. A public or private group

And remember this is all accomplished by simply sending a email to… yourblogname@Posterous.com.

But keep in mind, this is just the tip of the iceberg…
